What we did today: Today we answered some questions about the civilizations the students read about. We then shared our answers in small groups and then with the class.
Homework: Students need to read about a particular individual or individuals in their ancient civilization. They need to write down what makes the individual(s) important to the development of the civilization.
Mesopotamia: Hammurabi pg 48-49
Egypt: Hatshepsut pg 80 and Thutmose III pg 81
India: Chandragupta pg 128-129 or Asoka pg 130-131
China: Shi Huangdi pg 151-153
Greece: Alexander the Great pg 197-198
Rome: Augustus pg 219 and Hadrian pg 220
The final project is due Friday June 8th
